Greetings,
It’s been hard to find my words to write this full moon’s newsletter. Telling you about what we are up to seems so petty. The world is going through so many brutal things. Horrors. I hope we counteract the darkness for you. If we achieve anything here at Ossipee Hill Farm, it’s to bring joy. A joy that is found through connecting with the natural world and with the community.
We are beyond grateful to every individual who took the time to come up the hill this past month. All together we have foraged roughly fifteen hundred pounds of strawberries! With more to pick. The stand remains open Sunrise to Sunset until further notice. The season has slowed, a few to find if you search. Raspberries are now ready for foraging as well. They are minimal.
Launching rockets on the first day of summer was a blast! We are looking to do it again on July 27th. Check rocket requirements here, Open Farm Day + Rocket Launching! — Ossipee Hill Farm
